What this site does

Convertor is a collection of self-hosted conversion tools. Most processing happens on the server that hosts the site — typically your own machine — using the files you explicitly upload through a tool page.

Files you upload

Uploaded files are stored only long enough to produce a result:

• Source files are stored in a local uploads directory and deleted automatically once a conversion finishes.
• Result files are kept temporarily (default 24 hours) and are automatically evicted afterwards.
• Job history is kept as plain JSON on the server; the newest records are evicted automatically once the history cap is reached.

What we do NOT do

Convertor does not send your files to any third-party service, does not use analytics trackers, and does not sell or share personal data. If the site is self-hosted, all file data remains under your control on your infrastructure.

Cookies

The site stores only a theme preference in your browser’s localStorage. No tracking cookies are set.

Third-party advertising

If advertising is enabled on this site, a third-party advertising provider may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads. Please check the provider’s own policy for how it handles ad-related data. Advertising can be disabled entirely in the server configuration.
